Difference of su -c and sudo?

Hi all,

I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong section. Please move it to the appropriate section if needed.

Anyway, during my web browsing about stuff to fix on Fedora I come across some commands that start with su -c, mainly when installing stuff.

So, as the topic title goes, I was wondering what the difference(s) is (/are) between using su -c and sudo. I've tried using sudo with no visible problems.

Thanks in advance.
