Lightbulb i7-3770K and compatible motherboard

I am going to build a desktop and I have narrowed down i7-3770K processor. I have looked at the motherboards that are available and there is very little information about the board that has best compatibility with Linux, specifically Fedora 16.

Has anybody experienced putting Fedora 16 on i7-3770K processor, what would be advice related to the motherboard.

Thanks.

Re: i7-3770K and compatible motherboard

This puppy is brand new so I would strongly recommend to install Fedora 17 (beta) or wait a couple of days for the final release.

The boards should all be working with Linux. The main difference is the price, features and power consumption.

Some boards might require boot parameter to install Fedora 17 (beta) including Asus P8Z77-V Pro, Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H and Intel DH77KC

Code:
boot: pcie aspm=force
Not exactly sure what this does though ;-)
