[SOLVED] Brother DCP-7065DN not working in Fedora 17

Hello,

I have just installed a fresh install of Fedora 17. I also have a brand new Brother DCP-7065DN connected to the system and the drivers are loaded. The system does see the printer, but when I want to print, it just does not print anything, nothing shows up in the queue.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Additional info:

In /var/log/messages, every 30 seonds I get the following error message:

Jun 27 15:27:19 homepc upowerd[883]: ** (upowerd:883): WARNING **: Property get or set does not have an interface string as first arg

Installing glibc.i686 fixed the problem. i used the command below to install:

yum install glibc.i686

[DHR]

I found that this is listed as "Pre-required Procedure (7)" in http://welcome.solutions.brother.com...en/before.html
