Extra Wireless NIC Won't Connect to AP

[Running Fedora 17 64bit GNOME 3.4.2]
I recetly bought a an Alfa AWUS036NHR to use with my laptop.

Only problem is that I'm having trouble connecting it to my access point. My access point has no encryption enabled. My internal wireless NIC can connect to the access point, and I made sure that the DHCP Server is running on the wireless router.

Upon running:

Code:
airmon-ng check
I found out that "dhclient" was only running on my internal wireless NIC, not the (external usb) Alfa wireless NIC. So I ran:

Code:
dhclient -d wlan1
in order to run it on the other interface as well. However, I am still unable to connect D:
Any ideas?

Re: Extra Wireless NIC Won't Connect to AP

I found out the default drivers that Fedora 17 loaded up didn't work so hot. I ended up having to slightly tweak Alfa's drivers a bit. The drivers were meant for an older kernel version, but I'm sure these slightly tweaked drivers will work on kernel 3.x

You should just have to run the "install.sh" as root and it should work.
Also, very important, don't forget to blacklist the old driver that was loaded up.
In my case it was "rtl8192cu", so I had to add "blacklist rtl8192cu" to "/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf".
