Wireless not working after update

I recently updated kernels but am having an odd problem with the wireless internet (not working). I tried to install kmod-wl but it gave me this

how could the installed size be 0? Could this be why my wireless wont work?

If broadcom-wl had the wireless working before a kernel update and not afterwards, then I recommend taking a moment to study what is installed now.

rpm -qa | grep -e broadcom-wl -e kmod-wl -e kernel | sort

All of those package versions should make sense vis-a-vis the kernels, especially the currently running kernel...

My broadcam-wl and everything was still installed. All I had to reinstall was kmod-wl and it began working again. Just click yes when it asks the yes or no question.
