Problems Burning Audio CDs

Just wondering if anybody is having problems burning audio cds. I was backing up a few new acquisitions, and when I went to play back the cd, the cd played fine, but there wasn't any sound. I use the command line to copy cds since I want to add cd-text to my cds. Here is the command I used (this worked fine for Fedora Core 1): cdrdao copy --with-cddb --device /dev/scd1 --source-device /dev/scd0 --speed 12. I tried to create a cd without cd-text and I got the same results. I burned a data cd, and that reads perfectly. If anybody has any suggestions, I would appreciate them.

Well, I seem to find a little more about my problem. It sounds like the sg module is broken in the FC2 kernel. When I was using the default kernel, 2.6.5-1.358, I couldn't rip my cds into mp3s using grip. After upgrading to 2.6.6-1.406, I can use grip again, but still cannot properly burn audio cds. I even installed 2.6.6-1.414 and that hasn't fixed the problem. I figure it is the kernel since grip didn't work originally. Plus, I used k3b's clone feature (readcd -clone), it still fails to write an audio cd properly. Looks like I should submit a bug report.
