audio problem with 2.6.10-1.771-FC2

i've installed with yum the kernel, but it is unable to properly setup the audio

it says that alsa can't set the audio on the /dev/dsp device...

it run n times the same process to set the audio and the system become very slow

this is the only log i've found

Code:
Apr 29 19:02:04 localhost kernel: request_module: runaway loop modprobe snd-card-0
any suggestion?

with my precedent kernel(2.6.10) alsa works perfectly but i need to change the kernel in order to install the nvidia driver

Hi
