error: Architecture is not included: x86_64

my machine is 64 with core3.

i download apmd-3.0.2-24.src.rpm and first run

#rpm -Uvh apmd-3.0.2-24lp.src.rpm

then create apmd.spec in /usr/src/redhat/SPECS

then i run

#rpmbuild -ba apmd.spec


then error as follows

error: Architecture is not included: x86_64


i also meet the problem with some other packets. can someone tell me something about "x86_64" and how to do ?
