Installing Fedora Core 4 on a Fedora Core 2 drive

Is it possible to install the Fedora Core 4 release on my
Fedora Core 2 disk and thereby save all my settings?

As a dialup user, it's likely I'll have to purchase an ISO
on dvd. Is there a preferred place to do that?
