Firefox plugins help

hi, can anyone tell me how to open .doc document in the browser when i am using the internet.it is asking to save me the document , i want it to open in the browser , just like pdf opens in the browser. should i install any plugin for that . if so what are the plugins i should install and where can i get the plugins.
