After I rebooted, it will no longer allow me to run YUM, YUMEX, PUP, etc. I get this error when running YUM:

Traceback (most recent call last):

yummain.main(sys.argv[1:])
File "/usr/share/yum-cli/yummain.py", line 85, in main

File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/yum/config.py", line 612, in readMainConfig

File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/yum/config.py", line 710, in _getsysver
hdr = idx.next()
StopIteration

I checked both of these sites but there is no mention of the problem:

https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-test-list/
https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedo...ist/index.html

Any ideas?

Arch

Found this

after reading it, I think you should remove your current yum and install one of the others.

I had a similar Yum error after updating, I had to manually go to download.fedora.redhat.com/fedora/linux/core/development/i386/Fedora/RPMS and grab the newest yum RPM.
