Asus K8n

I got a partial winner, looking for that 100%..

ASUS K8N
socket 754
nForce 250
DDR 400

currently just installed XP Pro on a Asus K8N on a SATA drive, installation was a success after very careful reading about failed installations.

System boots fine, no software installed as of yet, not online to download any types of updates (MS, Norton, or any others).

My problem is after I do th following the systems hange with a blank screen

Start
Log off
Restart

The system does its normal routine, until its goes thru the reboot process makes it up to the point where it should reload xp, it stop and gives me a blank screen....

Any suggestions...

Oh yes the BIOS is set to Default.

yep, one suggestion: pose your question in a Windows forum as well, because your problem is not Linux related...
