boot of suse 10.2 cd fails in hvm guest

Hi all

I'm using fc6 on a x86_64 with several hvm xen domU's running fc6 i386 and w3k Server successfully. Now I need a hvm guest running suse linux (my customer needs groupwise and starting from version 7 they seem not to support redhat linux anymore). I thought I could simply point my virtual cdrom device to the DVD ISO and then boot it in a hvm guest as usual. The system starts booting, but at the end of the first screen (with bios messages etc) I get the lines:

Booting from CD-Rom...

ISOLINUX 3.31 0x45688c0e Copyright (C) 1994-2005 H. Peter Anvin

but here the system hangs in an endless loop (consuming one of my 4 CPUs).

Any ideas?

regards
