AMD X2 5600+ vs. Intel e6300

Hi,

I'm planning to assemble a new PC that'll be good for atleast 2-3 years. In my budget, I've shortlisted the two CPUs mentioned above as the prices fall very close to each other (the prices are applicable in India). Which of the two processor will offer a better price-to-performance ratio?

Core2Duo by far. Not to mention Core2Duo's are insane overclockers - I got a stable 2.8GHz OC just by upping the FSB and making RAM function at a 1:1 ratio... It's fast!

Thanks a lot guys. From what Tom's hardware has to say, even the e4300 seems a very capable processor. I guess, I can save the extra cash and get a X-fi card . I hope they play well with FC6.
