black screen after loading befor login screen

after fc6 gets done loading
where the log in screen is spose to be i have a black screen

my system is

core 2 quad q6600
1 8800gtx
8gb ram ddr-2
30" 3007wfp 2560x1600
asus P5N32-E SLI MotherBoard
vista U 32 - 64 bit
winxp pro

fedora core 6 (notworking)

soon Fedora 7
