New Keyboard and bluetooth = headache

I just bought a new bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo and they work fine in windows. However when I restart the bios environment and grub detect the keyboard and mouse as well. When it seems to stop working is when Fedora begins loading the Bluetooth services during boot. At this point all function ceases and the keybord says disconnected. When I try to repair them I have no luck

This is an odd issue because 1 the keyboard and mouse are bluetooth devices and 2 they both work before the bluetooth services are loaded.

they both work when I disable bluetooth though which is odd is there a way around disabling bluetooth?
