Accessing DVD-RW drive

I just installed FC8 last night and I'm admittedly a linux newb. I could not figure out how to mount the DVD-RW drive. I found some similar problems in other forums doing a google search but most of the solutions involved editing the fstab file (but I dont see my drive listed in that file). I have also included the dmesg error given upon access attempt. I also tried to access the drive via the GUI and have the screen shot of that message below.

Quote:
********# cat /etc/fstab
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0

from dmesg | tail
UDF-fs: No fileset found
Thanks if you're able to help,
-UTCA
