Question xmms problem

when i open a new terminal or a tab of a terminal , it always show

cp: overwrite `/root/.xmms/config.old'?

when i press enter, it shows
mv: overwrite `/root/.xmms/config'?

what's the problem ?

You're not running as root, are you?

I'd try removing those config files. (back them up, first)

I'am always running as root.
I ever tried removing the .xmms in the root and then re-config it , but it makes no diffenence
