Mounting /home on a new partition

So how would I go about this ? I only have 1 user account on there atm, but I want to place it onto it's own 20G partition. Creating and formating the partition is simple enough, however telling FC2 that /home is now located elsewhere, and copying all of the files across and chowning them so that they belong to the original user, seems complicated. How would I go about this ?
