New Softwares Installation Problem on Fedora Core 7

hi,

When i want to install new softwares by "Add Remove Softwares" The window is closing by saying no network connection. Same is the case with "Software updates". I don't have internet connection but i have distro DVD.

I want to install some of the softwares from DVD that were not selected at the time of Fedora installation.
