Hey all. I've verified gnome-power-management is installed and have "duckduckgo"'ed (google was too privacy-invasive 8) with no real clues. I've gone through every system property including Power and can find no correlation to activating a battery icon. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron D630. I've also tried a suggestion mentioned from the Fedora 16 battery icon missing thread within this forum for the gsettings command, rebooted, and it didn't work. Here's the command for reference:
Code:
gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power active true
I really wish this version had a more exhaustive set of options for System Settings.
Anyone have a fix?
