Install remove EXAMPLE evolution (I am beginner)

I am beginner in Linux.
Now I have a problem.
I did installt evolution.
This is working.
Then I did load old evolution backup.
This destroyed my evolution.

Question:
How can I clean my hd from all evolution files.
Remove and remove purge are not working
there are still evolution-files on hd.

Hello,

Please rename the evolution folders in your home directory that can found here:

/home/<yourusername>/.cache
/home/<yourusername>/.config
/home/<yourusername>/.local/share

After that you can restart evolution with a new configuration of your emal-accounts.

If you do not see this folders with beginning with a "dot" you must first make this visible because by default you cannot see that in nautilus.

Press ctrl + H or strg+H to make this folders visible.

After a new configuration of your email-accounts if you have not problems so far, you can delete the renamed folders because you don't need them.
