Webcam setup

First of all let me say Im new to linux. I am looking for a webcam that will support Fedora core 4, Ive looked everywhere but some(all it seems) evil companies only write drivers for M$. Id prefer a logitec quickcam and I have found no drivers saying that they are reliable or work with Fedora.
Some suggestions on a type of webcam, or somewhere to get drivers for a good webcam, or both would be great.

I use the Sweex Mini USB Webcam 100K with FC5. The generic driver is already installed and one just needs to install video4linux.
A webcam will generally work if the generic driver for the webcam exists.
