are you people also having lots of errors lately? An example:

Yes, the 'yum-fastestmirror' is the problem. Remove that and you'll speed everything up. I just dumped it yesterday.

Yeah - If you still want fast mirrordetection, then you can set mirrordetection to "Fastest" in Yumex and it's the same effect without that error...
