gnome-session-properties problem

Hi:
I am using FC5.
When as a superuser I try:
Code:
/usr/bin/gnome-session-properties
I get the following:
Code:
(gnome-session-properties:3076): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

** (gnome-session-properties:3076): CRITICAL **: gsm_protocol_new: assertion `GNOME_CLIENT_CONNECTED (gnome_client)' failed

** (gnome-session-properties:3076): WARNING **: Could not connect to gnome-session.
and nothing else!!

Why?

Thanks.
Masoud

Because you didn't really login as root. When you switch use
Code:
su --login
