How do I create a Link if I am not logged in as root

Hi

I installed Adobe reader and I have a Link on my desktop for root.

How do I create a Link for users other then root. The create link option is grayed out.

Thanks

create the link as that user and the perms will allow them to use it... maybe do it in /home/*user*/Desktop/ ?

i'm actually unsure of what you mean by Link and what it has to do with Adobe Reader though

or.. do you mean shortcut?
