Slow connection

I have a DSL connection that is fast when running Windows but slow when running FC5. It has been fast before running FC5. I have repeatedly cleared the private area on my Firefox browser - no change.

Are there are things I can do to improve performance?

Hello:
It may be ipv6 which is set to default in firefox
type about:config in the address bar
and filter for ipv
and set network.dns.disableIPv6 to true
you can also add the following to your /etc/modprobe.conf file

alias net-pf-10 off
alias ipv6 off
