smbd dead but pid file exists..

Hi there..
I'v just made a fresh install of Fedora Core and installed samba with yum.
The only thing en my smb.conf is

[global]
guest account = pcguest
workgroup = MYGRP

and the first time i started smb it said

Code:

smbd dead but pid file exists
nmbd (pid 13534) is running

i dont know what to do? i found this thread Link but i doesnt work .. What should i do ?

check if there is a .pid file in /var/run/ that looks like it belongs to smbd. Delete it and try again.

Hmm it seems that its because of the command guest account = pcguest, if i Comment it hvis ; there is no problem ? Why is that ?
