[fc5] problem with automatic services start on startup

Hi, i have a problem with fc5.
I have created a folder /etc/rc.d/rc.shrek where i've put start scripts and programs which startup/shutdown diferent services shutdown iptables and changes it into new one. So i have done a symlink "ln -s /etc/ec.d/rc3.d/S97shrek /etc/rc.d/rc.shrek" but after this services placed in rc.shrek do not start automatically while system is starting, but i can do it manually after system start. What to do to make it starting automaticaly while startup?

system is fc5 with text mode only (init3).

please help me or give some suggestion

The system won't execute a folder; you will have to create symlinks to each script. Also make sure they're executable:
Code:
chmod +x /path/to/script
