Problem synchronizing with Sony Clie PEG-NR70

Fedora Core 5, two kernel versions (latest)...

In fact, the PDA is recognized and syncronization works. But right after it has finished, kernel crashes:

After that the keyboard in X is locked, however mouse works and I can reboot.

I have seen some messages already mentioning similar behavior but no solution was found. Any idea? The development of visor module (http://usbvisor.sourceforge.net/index.php) seems stopped, I don't know if someone takes care of it... Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
