Puplet Reporting Updates Incorrectly

Is anyone else experiecing the puplet "updates available" icon showing in their panel when there isn't actually any updates available?

It currently tells me that I have 3 updates available but both "apply updates" and a manual "yum -y update" reports no updates availabe. I have the freshrpms and livna repositories enabled if that makes a difference...

Help.

Hello:
I don't use puplets, however, you may want to try and clean the yum cache?
yum clean all
yum clean dbcache
yum clean metadata

and see if the clears it up?

i hava an opposite problem, there are certain packages i don't update so i add an "exclude=" line to yum.conf, which yum understands perfectly
somehow puplet (or yum-updatesd) does NOT, it always shows these packages are available for update

Hey redhat71,

This is NOT an opposite problem, this is the exact same problem - you've hit the nail on the head!

Puplet (or yum-updatesd) completly ignores the "exclude=" line I have in my livna.repo conf file. Without the "exclude" line I do indeed have 3 updates pending. When I choose "apply updates" or do a "yum -y updates" both correctly heed the "exclude=" line and report no updates available.

This is definitly a bug in puplet (or yum-updatesd).
