no hard drive found during installation

i have already installed windows xp on my system,now i want to install RHEL 3.0.but during installation ,it shows no hard drive found.i am using SATA (seagate ST380211AS).
my BIOS version is - NT94510J.86A.3528.2006.0208.1102 or 3528


i am using intel original D945NT board.

plz tell me the way

Hi sounds like this distro is to old to include sata driver , try a newer distro like fc5?
