Trouble Getting Dual Monitors to Work

Just installed FC5 on a Toshiba laptop, and it is running fine for the most part, but there is a problem.
When I try to configure it for two monitors the gui doesn't work right, and an error appears, I am able to get one monitor working right again when I replace the xorg11.conf in the etc folder with its backup. The single (laptop's) monitor works fine alone, but I am trying to get my 2nd monitor working as well, it is a Dell 15", I can give the model numbers of all of these if you need them to help me. If anyone can help me, it would be great, and I would be really thankful.

vulcan43,

Please post the contents of your xorg.conf together with the exact error message that you receive, plus explain exactly what you mean by "doesn't work right".

Regards,
