Installing Fedora Linux Core 6 (linux Central) on Dell Dual Core Laptop

Hi,

I have just recieved the Fedora Linux Core 6 DVD from linux Central. Installing from this DVD on my brand new dell dual core laptop gives me the following error,

Invalid keyword in config file
Invalid keyword in config file
boot:


Looking at the previous posts i went ahead and typed in,

boot: /isolinux vmlinux initrd=/isolinux/initrd.img

On this command i receive the following message,

Invalid Kernel Image

Any ideas as to how i can solve this issue

That was a glitch in FC-5 which might not have the same solution. I did a quick search in Bugzilla and couldn't find a match to the problem. Did your DVD pass the media test? You may want to go back to Linux Central and complain after checking that your order was processed correctly.
