Evolution Email when Connecting to email server through dialup

I have an SBCGlobal DSL connection that my Evolution email works fine with. It also works on my home wireless network as well as wifi hotspots. I find however, that when I access my email through my optional dial up login that I cannot send or receive email. The button is greyed out. I can connect to the internet and use my browser.

I am running FC6 right now but it has been this way since I started (FC4) with Linux. I can use the optional dial up email account with my Windows PC.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is this an SE Linux issue?

Thanks
