Disable touchpad while typing

Hi,

On my Dell 600m I would like to disable the touchpad when i am typing. I always hit it when typing and mess up my cursor location. I looked in synpoptics config program but doesnt have an option for it.

If this can be done how?

Thanks,
Mitchell

I found something but I cant test it now...

in /etc/X11/XF86Config must be settings (ServerLayout ???) for your touchpad.
try to disable it!

I dont know any tool for it, but I would do that with a script. Unfortunately one must need everytime the root permissions...

if you find a solution/program, please post it!
