After UPDATE unable to do updates!

I did a system requested update this morning (3/3/2007) and now whenever I try to do any update or software add/removal I get a crash!

Here is the crash file that was generated...

file:///root/Desktop/CrashAfterUpdate has been included!

Now what? Will I EVER be able to update again or will I need to do a new install?
