Trouble connecting with an Intel 82557 in FC6

Recently, I gained possession of an old Pentium II box with an Intel 82557. I'm new to Linux, but have thus far managed to get basic functionality working without a lot of help, but I haven't the faintest idea what's wrong this time.

The only things I know are the type of card, that I'm running FC6 and that it fails to connect. I swapped Ethernet cables with the computer sitting next to it (the one I'm typing on now) with no change in either computers ability to connect. Then, I restored an old ghost of a 98 install, and was able to connect fine. Probably not a hardware problem, then.

I'm guessing drivers are the problem, but I don't know how to install anything without going to repositories with yum. Even if I did, I don't know where to find them, the card doesn't seem to exist on Intel's site anymore.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?
