usb devices no longer automount

For some reason my USB devices, camera, external usb drives and flash drives no longer get recognized and mounted under /media.

I might have turned something off with chkconfig but I don't know what. Dmesg does see linux recognize the devices but does not mount them as usually.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I performed a disk analyzer and I found /dev/.udev is full. Specifically a directory under
.udev called db. I have an option of moving it to trash.

dev/--
.udev/
db <---------------- this directory is FULL

I had a similar problem - unable to mount usb drives. Installing the pmount package solved the problem
