Network Manager displays IPW2200 as wired connection

Basically what the title says. I installed F7 a few days ago and when connecting to my wireless network it connects and everything seems to work properly. However when the connection is established it says wired connection and when hovering over the icon for network manager it says "Wired network connection". It also does not show the signal strength. Not a huge problem but just a bit of a gripe. Anyone else seeing similar issues or have any suggestions?

Network Configuration does show my ipw2200 as a wireless device so I am at a bit of a loss. I am running F7 on an ibm thinkpad r51 just for reference.

Any help would be appreciated.

Scott

Not a big deal, just delete the profile, then select "new", wireless" and select Intel Pro and reconfigure everything....

This is a known bug in NetworkManager http://http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354565. I agree that its quite annoying. Sometimes if you wait a few seconds before logging into gnome it will not go through detecting the wired connection and will go straight to wireless, but not always.

Edit: I should say unconfirmed bug rather than known bug.
