Red face Fatal Module Off not found

What is that i just disabled ipv6 nothing else and everytime i restart my network or boot fedora 7 i get this messages

I think it is:
options modulename off

I think you might be doing:
alias modulename off

Go here - you scr*wed up the disable.

FWIW There is almost no value in removing IPv6. It doesn't
cause the sort of difficulties newbies image and the stack passing
cost is only microscopically impacted.

It is however a good way to mess up your system (as demonstrated).

well stevea i did exactly what they told me on that url...so it must be something else
i wanted to remove ipv6 because my lan is so slow, im using my fedora box to share internet.
What else could it be, i thought my problem was that, becasue after disabling ipv6 my lan was perfect i restarted and is like before

do you have the ip_forwarding piece turned on in sysctl?

I disabled my ipv6 because I think my router's firmware is on the fritz - and DHCP stops working...
While I'm working on that, disabling ipv6 seems to help temporarily.

Hi Dors,

Have you fix it ? I followed the tuts and ended up with the same problems.

i think ipv6 is different in f7, something to do with SIT, i can't seem to disable it all all.
