Smile problem with mac mini

I am a newbie for FC7 and Mac mini,as I have a mac mini on which i have to load FC7.
I have went through so many posts and installed FC7 on my mac mini, but there seems to be a problem with wireless card .

I have installed bcm43xx-fwcutter as posted in this groups.
but I am not able to find device in iwconfig.
but i can see all bcm43xx_mac80211 modules in lsmod.
Since mine is a mac PC I have no windows drivers with me, so I haven't tried ndiswrapper.

Please can anyone help me for this problem, this is very important for my project to continue.
thanks for help.
Can any one suggest me complete steps to make my wireless card work properly......plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hi sasi_chi,

do you have a bit more info on that MadWifi drivers? I just got Fedora 7 running on my G5, and at the moment only have a wireless connection (Apple Airport).

Where did you get it, did you compile it or did you find a binary that worked for you?

tia,
Kev.

That is great that you solved your issue. Keep in mind that this is a USER forum, it is not affiliated with Fedora other than the fact that we use it. You also have to realize that there are only likely to be a very small number of people who have actually tried to install Fedora on a Mac Mini so your chances of finding someone that is sure of the answer to your problem is equally as small. Keeping that in mind it will likely take longer to get answers to problems with Fedora on your hardware. Don't get discouraged though as this forum is full of people that are more than willing to help where they can

You will just have to become the expert so you can help those that follow in your shoes

I should give that a read, it won't even install for me, think the installed kernel is ppc64 (must have done it by default) and it wants ppc packages installed. Might play around tonight, try to get the 32 bit ones installed for now.
