Lightbulb How to add machines in samba f7?

hello,

i dont know how to add machines in samba. my client running on xp is named ws1

i can add simple users in fedora with useradd command but how i will addmy machines for joining domain in samba.

please help me.

Are you trying to set it up in a an actual Domain or in a work group. In a work group its easy to do, but I don't know about an actual Domain group.

Windows Username is actually your Windows computer name

This is really a Windows question, it doesn't matter if the PDC runs Linux+Samba or Windows.
If you have already set up Samba as the PDC, you join the Windows clients through right-clicking My Computer, choosing Properties, Computer Name, then click the "Change ..." button. See: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art.../wxpjoind.html
