Changing desktop geometry

Hi!

My problem is that the fonts and buttons are looking a bit too big. For instance, when i open pup, i can only see four options in the left select box, and the tab's size is much too big.
I've switched from SUSE (with KDE) to Fedora (with Gnome) and i remember an option where i can change the desktop geometry. Is there a similar feature in Fedora (with Gnome)?

First check that your screen resolution is correct under "System / Preferences / Hardware / Screen Resolution".
