Sound Preferences with 2 cards

I'm using two separate sound cards and would like to split them, one for music and one for everything else. I went to sound preferences and put sound events on one and music and movies on the other.

The problem is: I use Firefox most of the time to play my music (Pandora.com). How can I change Firefox's, or any other program's, designation as event or music?

I assume it's just a tag in a config file somewhere, but I haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks,
Peter
