Hey all, running f7 on an older compaq desktop, just finished putting together a nice new PC with the following;
ASUS m/b (p5ld2) w/ intel 3.2 cedar mill
1gig ram
160 sata wd drive
Also 160gb IDE & HP DVD writer (IDE)
256mb nvidea, and other exciting things.
BIOS seems to see all devices, have sata settings set to [standard ide] and advanced set to enhanced mode. (have tried other ways), but that should be correct way.
F7DVD boot, I get the nice balloons, then install. After the initial start, the blue screen pops with;
LOADING SCSI DRIVER
Loading pata_it821x driver
and just hangs there.
Is there anything I can do at the boot level to disable, or change to make this boot correctly?
Thanks.
