Hello all,
I wanted to give Linux a try, so I downloaded Fedora 7 Live CD. When trying to boot from the CD, I keep getting the "Kernel panic - Attempted to kill init" error. The only thing before that that looks like it might be an error is "AICP: Unable to load system tables." The rest is mostly alphanumeric codes that have no meaning to me as a first-time Linuxer. In my brief browse of the forum I didn't see mention of this error popping up on Live CD boot, only in an installed kernel.
I haven't verified the iso (not sure how in Windows?), but I'm on my second iso, downloaded from a different torrent as the first, so iso error isn't the first thing that pops into my mind.
Has anybody else ran into this trying to boot from Live CD? If so, I'd love any advice!
Thanks!
