Greetings,
When I installed FC6 I selected all defaults, and believe my install consumes all 80GB of the drive I put it on. (My XP is on another drive, my GRUB is on the 2nd (linux drive).
I need to shrink my file system to something much smaller (say 20GB), and I ASSUME shrink the partition to that size also. Then I need to create additional partitions to allow installation of other distro's. My first will be ubuntu, with others to follow as time allows. I've read several threads that are close to what i want to do, but they seem to suggest deleting the old partition, which from my novice perspective, seems to present other challenges which I'm ill prepared to complete successfully without a lot of help. Is there an easy way to do what I want? I'm not sure where to begin . . .
I need to use free resources, preferably built-in to FC6.
Thanks,
Dave
