Question what's different of these softwares?

I use :yum install firefox to update the firefox. I find the latest firefox in FC6 is firefox-1.5.0.12-4.fc6.i386. I go to the website of Mozilla and find that the latest firefox is Firefox 2.0.0.7. what's different of them?
When i update the firefox using yum, i find that beside the firefox it also update three softwares. Can i use : rpm -Uvh package to do the same things? The package is downloaded by myself, for example,it's Firefox 2.0.0.7

"yum update firefox" updates the package.
Yes, doing an update will generally force the update of dependencies.
rpm will not load the dependencies, but will instead refuse to install the package until YOU manually update the dependencies (if any).

I'm not sure if FF 2.0.x.x was ever supported on FC6. It will probably work, but you may experience problems.

FF 2 wasn't ever officially released for FC6 as Stevea correctly suggested,

however you can install the remi yum repository and install it through there, i have done this many times without problem.
Code:
rpm -ivh http://remi.collet.free.fr/rpms/fc6.i386/remi-release-6-2.fc6.remi.noarch.rpm
yum update firefox

BUT, what you can do if running FC6 is, enable the "development" repo and type:

yum install firefox

and you will get firefox 2.0.0.5 or something like that, can't remember....
