Thumbs down yum not updating - Missing Dependency: dbus = 1.0.2-4.fc7

Yum will not update. I keep getting this error:

Code:
Error: Missing Dependency: dbus = 1.0.2-4.fc7 is needed by package dbus-x11
I can try to update some things individually and sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Always acts like it has successfully updated, but when you look in yum again the same update is still listed there that supposedly just updated. But the one consistent thing is the above error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Do you have multiple repositories enabled? You might have run into the infamous "repository-hell"

Hello:
Try the following:
yum -C remove dbus-glib-0.73-3.fc7 dbus-python-0.81.1-1.fc7 dbus-x11-1.0.2-6.fc7

and post the output before you say Yes to the yum removal [i.e. do not say yes to the removal at this point ]

Actually, I fixed it. Wanted to let you guys know how. I did a yum clean all and then did yum -y remove dbus-x11 followed by yum -y install dbus-x11. After going through all of that I was able to successfully get all of my updates without the dependency errors.

There is another way to do this

su
yum install yum-utils
package-cleanup --cleandupes

check version to be removed and answer yes if correct
